A native of Southern California, Christine Pope has been writing stories ever since she commandeered her family’s Smith-Corona typewriter back in the sixth grade. Her short fiction has appeared in Astonishing Adventures, Luna Station Quarterly, and the journal of dark fiction, Dark Valentine.
Books
Novels and novellas are listed in reverse order of publication, with the most recent first. At some point I suppose I’ll get really serious and start dividing them out by genre, but in the meantime you can just start at the top and work your way backward.
Works in Progress
Like most writers, I tend to have a lot of things in the hopper. Some are completed and in the editing process, while others are barely a twinkle in my eye. Maybe I’m nuts for putting this stuff out on the web, but if nothing else, having the whole world know what I’m planning may be a good cure for procrastination…
Free Stuff
This is where you can come to get free reads. Most of these are short stories, but every once in a while I may post something longer. Welcome to Skullcrusher Mountain, for example, is a novella of around 25K, and I’m offering it for free because it was written under a Creative Commons license that allowed me to create a derivative work as long as I didn’t make any money off it.
