Last Call
About the Series
Ghosts make terrible witnesses. They can’t remember how they died — and they’re not always telling the truth.
Lorelei Cosgrove inherited three things from her great-aunt Hazel: a Victorian house in Prescott, Arizona, a wine bar called Copper State Cellars, and a family gift nobody warned her about.
Now she can see the dead. Hazel is still in the house, still in her twin sets, still full of opinions. A Prohibition-era federal agent haunts the bar and calls Lorelei “doll.” And every time someone turns up murdered on Prescott’s Whiskey Row, their ghost shows up looking for Lorelei — bewildered, tethered to the place they died, and unable to remember a single useful thing about who killed them.
The Last Call series is cozy mystery with a paranormal twist: small-town Prescott, a found family of the living and the dead, a slow-burn romance with a defrocked priest turned bookseller, and a heroine who never asked to be anyone’s medium.
Ghosts can witness. They can warn. They can mislead.
But they can’t solve Lorelei’s cases for her.
